Pilar Carrasco (Margarita Rosa de Francisco) is an accountant at a company called Carrasco and Carrasco. One of his clients are Sergio Gaviria (Salvador del Solar) a lawyer who was doing a report on the accounting firm where she worked.
Although the lawyers involved with Christine Cadena (Cristina Campuzano), under the influence of his mother Eugenia Herrera (Laura Garcia), his relationship with Pilar gradually started to become a strong attraction.
Though it seems an accountant to lead a normal life with her sister Carmela (Victoria Góngora), an unexpected event changed the direction of his life and forced to confront a negative situation that leads to life decisions. During his predicament, he met Alex Pilar Avendaño (Roberto Urbina), a lawyer who will support and help solve their problems.
